Many serious drugs today are being used by adolescents and teens recreationally and they don't realize how serious these drugs are. There's many reasons young people experiment with substances like ecstasy, methamphetamines, marijuana and alcohol. Peer pressure and low self-esteem, depression and problems at home or in school are some of the reasons our young people are choosing to use mind altering drugs. This leads to dependency and addiction and destroys their life.
Intensive Behavioral Therapy and Individual Counseling are used to change behaviors that are unhealthy and negative to positive healthy choices and behaviors. We provide one on one therapy and counseling to adolescents and teens helping them change the way they look at drugs and other substances. Educating them on the dangers and consequences of substance use helps them make better choices in the future.
Peer pressure and low self-esteem issues are common problems many young people face while growing up. It's important to address these problem areas and provide guidance and help in dealing with them. Young people need to feel good about themselves and sometimes fitting in with their peers makes them feel better about them self. Learning positive ways to feel good and choosing healthy friends to fit in with make a big difference in a young person's life. Addressing these problems early can keep our adolescents and teens from becoming addicted to harmful drugs or having problems with alcohol.
